Production Highlights
Being my second year at Super Grands I decided to make our Broadcasts better than ever. This year we added Ricky Guzman to our crew, as a student at Flash Point Chicago he has the same drive as the rest of us. Like myself (Zak) he loves Video and he is currently working his way towards a degree in Audio Engineering.
We also expanded our equipment line up so allow us to deliver a better, yet as any production we ran across issues as usual and as always we over come and learn from them. We have migrated completely to OBS Studio (Scene Switcher & Encoding Software) and Live Score App (a Scoreboard Software)

Breaking a Three-way Tie in Breaking
On the first night of competition something unprecedented happened… a three-way tie in breaking. As scores were tied judges went to point and the planets aligned… each judge (three for elimination) pointed to a different person. The resolution… to have each competitor conduct a singular break, once all the breaks are done it’s point and pray, pray a tie doesn’t occur again. And it didn’t. You can watch the highlight here.
